What is Pain Management

Chronic pain is a widespread condition impacting a significant number of individuals worldwide, resulting in physical and emotional limitations, reduced quality of life, and hindered work capacity. This disabling condition affects multiple aspects, including overall health, psychological well-being, and social and economic welfare.

The field of Pain Medicine specializes in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating individuals experiencing pain. A dedicated team comprising experts from various medical disciplines collaborates in the diagnosis and treatment process. The primary goal of pain management is to achieve effective pain control, enabling patients to regain functional capabilities and improve their daily lives. Moreover, it aims to enhance the psychosocial well-being of patients while reducing reliance on pain medications.
